Staying Culturally Involved at TRU – Classroom Presentation by Sammi Jo Haire

After four years at Thompson Rivers University, I have learned and grown so much. My appreciation for other cultures have elevated my studies and helped me gain a better understanding of learning habits. Below is my Power-Point presentation on cultural involvement. This presentation was presented to the NDP club as well as the SRCL 1000 class.

Presentation Summary

This presentation discussed clubs, classes, events, employment, and other opportunities presented by TRU for students. I discussed my own experience as well as other opportunities for students to get involved. The presentations ended with a great discussion about their experiences as well as many questions about getting involved. Being involved in many cultural clubs myself, I really enjoyed being able to give back to the students the knowledge I have gained over the years at TRU.
