I’m Sammi Jo Haire! I’m a 4th year Biology student and an aspiring paediatrician. I have a passion for all things botany and EDI. I enjoy taking journalism courses and advancing my knowledge with public speaking. In my spare time, I model and compete in pageants. I am a 5x titleholder competing regionally, nationally and internationally. I am an Irish-Canadian who enjoys sharing my culture with others along with learning about identities across the globe. I am a TRUSU equity committee member as well as an intercultural ambassador GLBL 1000 has helped me gain a better understanding of the world that I share with my classmates at TRU as well as be able to teach others about my discoveries.
